Summary

An important number of studies in the past years support the effectiveness of antenatal education for parenthood. This study examined the percentage of pregnant women who attended antenatal classes for parenthood in Crete Island and explored their views about these courses. For the optimum evaluation of antenatal classes for parenthood further studies are required.
