Περίληψη – Summary

Cardiovascular disease is one of the leading causes of death in the US, being held responsible for roughly one third of all deaths. Atherosclerotic plaques are usually present. Clinically, it is crucial to be able to evaluate the amount of damage in the heart of patients who suffer from heart  diseases. Myocardial imaging was performed using 99mTc, conjugated with an isonitrilic cationic complex. 99mTc-MIBI has shown the most favorable results. In this study we describe the kinetics of Tc-99m-labelled hexakis-methoxy-isobutyl Isonitrile for myocardial imaging.
