Facial deformities are a major problem and originate either from congenital or from acquired mal- formations. With the term “congenital malformation” we mean the result of some protest during the formation of the fetus, which can take place between the sixth day and the end of the seventh month of pregnancy. With the term “acquired malformation” we mean the deformi- ties which somebody acquires during his life. The aes- theticians can play a very significant role not only in the restoration of the damage but also in the improvement of the psychological condition of the patient.
