Περίληψη – Summary
This review explores the relationship between breast-feeding and childbirth education and antenatal classes for preparation for parenthood. A literature search was conducted using the PubMed database, involving arti-cles published between 2010 and 2020. The data-bases were searched using the following key words: antenatal classes, perinatal classes and breastfeed-ing. This study confirms that prenatal breastfeeding training and support by healthcare professionals has a positive effect on the onset and duration of breastfeed-ing.
