Summary Teaching of medicine and in particular the basic sciences such as pharmacology is renowned for being innovative and rising to the challenge of using technology as an enhancement to traditional methods. This presentation will use illustrative examples from Edinburgh of how e-learning has been used to enhance the student learning experience and provide support for teachers particularly in pharmacology.
