Summary | Laboratory protocols often show complexity due to the fact that a) more than one parameter affects the desirable outcome and b) unknown interactions between certain parameters exist. To encounter such phenomena in biomedical research a novel experimental technique, the Taguchi robust design methodology has been successfully applied the last decade. The aim of the present study is the evaluation of the Taguchi method in finding the best combination of experimental parameters that guarantee for the highest glycosaminoglycan yield extracted from nails. | |
