Summary | The immunohistochemical technique of abiding-biotin was used for the detection of estrogen and progesterone receptors in muscle cells and in the chondrocytes of the maturing epiphyseal growth plate in the femur and tibia of Wistar rat fetuses at the late stage of fetal life. Negative nuclear immunohistochemical staining was observed in rat fetal muscle tissues. Estrogen receptors alpha and progesterone receptors beta were immunolocalized in resting, proliferating and hypertrophic zones of cartilage tissue. | ||
