Summary The use of vitamins and antioxidants for youthful-appearing skin is presented. The most of them have been studied, but much of the material discussed has not been well studied. All these are known as nutricosmetics. Nutricosmetic describes the synergistic use of oral and topical agents to improve skin appearance due to prevent skin ageing. Good nutrition is the key to a long, healthy life and beautiful skin. The review will begin with vitamins and then examine antioxidants, including flavonoids and polyphenols.
