|
Η παρούσα εργασία αποτελεί μελέτη της δομής, των αρχών, των δεξιοτήτων και των μεθόδων εκπαίδευσης των μαιών στην επικοινωνία. Η αναζήτηση σχετικών μελετών έγινε στις βάσεις δεδομένων Pubmed και Scholar Google, στις ιστοσελίδες των επιστημονικών οργάνων ACNM και UKCC, των επιστημονικών περιοδικών British Journal of Midwifery και Midwifery Today, καθώς και στις παραπομπές μίας συμπεριλαμβανόμενης μελέτης. Τα αποτελέσματα της αναζήτησης ήταν 20 μελέτες, από τις οποίες 3 αναφέρονταν στην επίδραση της επικοινωνίας στη μαιευτική άσκηση, 4 στις αρχές της επικοινωνίας, 4 στις δεξιότητες της επικοινωνίας και 9 στην εκπαίδευση της επικοινωνίας. Συμπερασματικά, γίνεται κατανοητό πως η επικοινωνία μεταξύ επαγγελματία υγείας και μητέρας/οικογένειας είναι αναγκαία στη μαιευτική άσκηση, καθώς επηρεάζει την εξέλιξη του τοκετού, την ικανοποίηση της μητέρας από την παρεχόμενη περιγεννητική φροντίδα, την ποιότητα της κλινικής άσκησης και την εμφάνιση ή μη του επαγγελματικού stress. Η επικοινωνία έχει δομή, αρχές και δεξιότητες, στις οποίες οι επαγγελματίες υγείας καλούνται να εκπαιδευτούν είτε κατά τις προπτυχιακές τους σπουδές, είτε κατά την επαγγελματική τους δραστηριότητα. This paper examines the structure, the principles, the skills and the training methods of communication for midwives. There has been a research for relevant studies in Pubmed, Scholar Google, British Journal of Midwifery and Midwifery Today. Twenty studies have been found, three of them referring to the effect of communication on midwifery practice, four referring to the communication principles, four to the communication skills and nine to the communication skills training. From the studies emerged the significance of communication between the health worker and the mother/family, as communication seems to affect labour, women’s satisfaction of perinatal care, quality of clinical practice and the appearance of professional burnout. Health workers need to be aware of the communication structure and principles and get communication skills training either during their nursing/midwifery studies or during their career. |
