Περίληψη – Summary
|
– α2 Αdrenergic agonists can be used with anaesthetic agents to modulate pain perception. The administration of clonidine epidurally has also been proposed in patients with chronic pain. The goal of this review is to provide a clinically useful synthesis of published experience with clonidine for spinal anaesthesia, focusing on efficacy when administered alone or in combination with other analgesics in specific patient populations and appropriate monitoring and treatment of side effects. |
