Frequently, the cervical spine is an area of major nuisance and dysfunction. Spinal mobilization is one of the tools that Physiotherapy has to deal with such situations. For the needs of the study, 12 patients with cervical dysfunction participated in 5 sessions where they received central and / or unilateral posterior to anterior accessory spinal mobilization. The outcome measures included the Neck Disability Index and the visual analogue pain scale. The results showed a statistically significant reduction in pain and dysfunction levels. In conclusion, 5 spinal mobilization sessions alone resulted in a significant reduction in pain and disability levels. |
