Περίληψη – Summary

Sudden cardiac death (SCD) accounts for 30-50% of all-cause mortality in patients with Idiopathic Dilated Cardiomyopathy (IDCM). Various noninvasive methods can predict the severity of the disease and the risk for arrythmiogenesis. T-wave alternans and Signal-averaged ECG play a significant role in risk stratification of these patients, while Heart Rate Variability reflects the severity of the disease.
