Περίληψη – Summary
Διεθνώς, καταγράφονται διακυμάνσεις στους δείκτες περιγεννητικής και νεογνικής θνησιμότητας και νοσηρότητας μεταξύ των χωρών. Στο άρθρο γίνεται αναφορά στους παράγοντες που διαφοροποιούν τα επίπεδα των παραπάνω επιδημιολογικών δεικτών. Επίσης, καταγράφονται και αναλύονται συγκεκριμένοι περιορισμοί που καθιστούν δύσκολη και πολύπλοκη τη σύγκριση των επιπέδων των συγκεκριμένων επιδημιολογικών δεικτών μεταξύ των χωρών.
 

Internationally, there is a variation in perinatal and neonatal mortality and morbidity rates among countries. The article refers to the factors that differentiate the level of these epidemiological indicators. Moreover, specific limitations that complicate the comparison of the levels of these epidemiological indicators between countries are recorded and analyzed.
