Περίληψη – Summary

The use of ICD’s, Biventricular Pacing and LVAD’s have a proven benefit over a variety of haemodynamic parameters, cardiac function, the prevalence of ventricular arrhythmias and as a result in the survival of DCM patients. Lately the use of Biventricular P-Defibrillators has shown promising results in the survival of DCM, yet the clinical data are limited and major clinical trials are expected in order to define the role of those devices in DCM therapy.
