Abstract
Medical statistics confirm that an increase in the likelihood of high blood pressure in individuals leads to a range of complications such as heart failure, stroke, or kidney failure, while a decrease can result in cell damage, particularly to the brain, due to inadequate oxygen and nutrient supply to tissues. Given this context, the research problem revolves around examining the impact of treatment and age on patients with varying blood pressure levels. The research aims to investigate how blood pressure treatment and patient age influence the response variables related to high blood pressure in a sample of 48 patients. This is achieved through binary logistic regression analysis. Comparative tests indicate the quality of the model according to various measures. The analysis of variance for the model variables in patients with high blood pressure demonstrated that the effects of the explanatory variables, specifically treatment and age, were statistically significant. With a p-value less than 0.05 and supportive chi-square test results, the estimated model parameters are confirmed to be significant, indicating the influence of treatment and age on the patients’ condition.
